Travel RN – Emergency Department

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Shifts (12:00 PM – 12:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a freestanding emergency department setting with a 1:4 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with EKGs, IV placement, and medication administration
- Support conscious sedation procedures and wound care
- Operate GE monitoring equipment and Baxter infusion pumps
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, paramedics, radiology techs, and security personnel
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care Emergency Department RN experience
- Active RN licensure in good standing
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current ENPC certification
- Current NIH Stroke Scale and PALS certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience as an ER Charge RN
- Willingness and ability to float between Emergency Department units as needed
