Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room environment
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient treatment
• Monitor and document patient conditions, interventions, and responses to treatment
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous emergency room nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with high-acuity and trauma patients
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
