Contract | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Holidays and weekends based on unit needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Prior experience in an Emergency Department or acute care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with triage and emergency patient assessment
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Ability to adapt quickly in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
