    Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 15-Week Assignment | Every Other Weekend Required | Must Be Willing to Work Holidays

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a combined Adult/Pediatric Emergency Department, including non-trauma and pediatric emergency settings
    • Perform triage, IV placement, phlebotomy, blood product administration, and central line care/management
    • Monitor and manage patients requiring arterial line management, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation
    • Interpret and manage dysrhythmias; interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs); operate CPAP/BiPAP equipment
    • Care for patients presenting with neurological, traumatic, and orthopedic emergencies including TBI, spinal cord injury, CVA, ICP monitoring, and traumatic amputation
    • Maintain proper isolation precautions and adhere to all facility and compliance protocols; completion of an Advanced EKG exam (80% or higher) required prior to start
    Required Qualifications
    • Valid California Registered Nurse license required at time of submission
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
    • EPIC EMR proficiency required
    • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, and PALS — copies must be included with submission
    • Must pass an Advanced EKG exam (20 questions, 45 minutes) with a score of 80% or higher prior to start; two attempts permitted remotely, one onsite attempt only
    • Local candidates are welcome and accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a STEMI-certified and/or Stroke-certified facility
    • Background in neuro-trauma, traumatic brain injury, or spinal cord injury care
    • Familiarity with gunshot wounds, near drowning, and traumatic amputation cases
    • Experience with ICP monitoring and neuro-trauma patient populations
