Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting across all age ranges, from infant to geriatric
- Manage and assess patients presenting with a wide variety of complex, multi-system diagnoses-
- Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:4, with the possibility of up to 1:5 for lower-acuity patients
- Float within the Emergency Department specialty and to sister ED facilities as needed
- Adhere to department scheduling needs, including rotating night and evening shifts and every-other-weekend requirements
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required
- Active Maryland RN license or active Compact RN license at time of submission
- BLS certification – American Heart Association only
- ACLS certification – American Heart Association only
- PALS certification – American Heart Association only
- CPI certification required (Calm Every Storm online version is the only acceptable online vendor); NIH certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills- NRP certification (NRP or AAP accepted)
- TNCC certification
