Schedule / Job TypeContract (13 Weeks) | Onsite | Days/Mids Rotating | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting across all age ranges, from infant to geriatric
- Manage and assess patients presenting with a wide variety of complex, multi-system diagnoseswork within a patient ratio of 1:4, with the potential for up to 1:5 with lower-acuity patients
- Rotate between day and mid shifts (07:00–19:30 and 11:00–23:30) based on departmental scheduling needs, with primary need on day shift
- Fulfill required holiday shifts as they fall within the schedule
- Float within the Emergency Department specialty to sister ED facilities as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Maryland RN license or valid Compact RN license at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
- BLS certification – American Heart Association only
- ACLS certification – American Heart Association only
- PALS certification – American Heart Association only
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required; CPI certification to be completed during onboarding
Preferred Experience / Skills- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Experience managing high-acuity, complex, multi-system patient diagnoses in a busy ED environment
- Comfort with floating within scope to other ED locations without restrictions
