Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | One 12-hour night shift per week
Key Responsibilities- Provide emergency nursing care as the primary RN in a Rural Emergency Hospital (REH) setting with no inpatient population
- Independently assess, triage, and manage emergency patients presenting to a stand-alone emergency department
- Utilize Cerner electronic health record system for documentation and patient management
- Maintain flexibility with scheduling to meet departmental needs
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 3–5 years of emergency room nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
- Must be an ER-specialized nurse; no other specialty backgrounds considered at this time
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working independently in a low-volume or rural emergency department setting
- Comfort operating as the sole RN on shift without charge nurse support
