Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Location
Fayetteville, GA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
- Adhere to all facility compliance, orientation, and scheduling requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
- Current ACLS certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Current PALS certification required
- NIHSS certification required; proficiency with EPIC EMR required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Room setting
- Familiarity with high-volume emergency department workflows and protocols
