Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every other weekend required; holiday shifts required if holiday falls on assigned rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to all facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Cerner EMR experience is required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume emergency department environment
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in rapidly changing clinical situations
• Familiarity with trauma and stroke protocols
