Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend and Holiday Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in an ED and Med-Surg Swing bed unit with a 22-bed capacity
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 for acute care, 1:4 in the ED, and 1:6 for swing bed patients
- Titrate and manage drips as required per patient care needs
- Read and interpret telemetry strips independently as the assigned RN
- Operate and monitor respiratory therapy equipment including nebulizers, oxygen delivery systems, ventilators (ED/transport use), and CPAP as needed
- Float to ED holds as needed and may serve in a charge nurse capacity
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Minimum of one year of Med-Surg experience
- Ability to titrate drips and manage common titratable medications
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in an Emergency Department setting
- Experience reading and interpreting telemetry strips
- Familiarity with swing bed patient care models
