Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM | 4 Weekend Shifts Per Schedule | No On-Call Required
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a 23-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
Perform and assist with procedures including cardioversion, TNK administration, and moderate sedation
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, paramedics, and PCTs in a dynamic, volume-driven environment
Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
Operate unit equipment including Welch Allyn and GE devices in accordance with facility policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
Current ALS (ACLS) certification
Current BLS certification
Current TNCC certification
Current ENPC or PALS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
2 or more years of Emergency Department experience
ENPC certification (preferred over PALS)
Team-oriented, flexible, and positive demeanor with the ability to adapt to fluctuating patient volumes
