    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Glendale, California, 91206!

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days (36/48 hours) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
    • Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
    • Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
    • Provide triage, treatment, and support for trauma and emergency patients of all ages in an acute care setting
    • Administer moderate sedation in accordance with department protocols and training requirements
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
    • Basic Life Support (BLS or HS-BLS or RQI BLS) certification from an approved vendor
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
    • AHA-PALS certification
    • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) certification
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification and NCI and Moderate Sedation Training required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
    • Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
