Key Responsibilities

• Function independently under general guidance, adhering to unit-specific guidelines, protocols, and policies
• Provide direct patient care in an emergency room setting, demonstrating independent action and sound clinical judgment
• Utilize time management, communication, planning, delegating, and problem-solving skills in delivering patient care
• Apply critical thinking skills to assess and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
• Maintain emotional stability and composure in high-acuity emergency settings

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Room experience
• Active Massachusetts RN License
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification
• Active American Heart Association PALS certification
• Must have personal reliable transportation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ED Triage and/or Cardiac Room experience (candidates with this background will receive first consideration)
• IV Certification
• Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health record system
• ENPC and/or CEN certification; BSN degree
