Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6-week period | Holidays as needed | No call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC electronic medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to facility policies including scheduling expectations, attendance standards, and floating requirements to other campus locations as needed
• Complete required compliance modules and orientation activities within designated timeframes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed, required of all RNs regardless of specialty)
• Valid driver's license required to verify candidate address

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Current CPI, PALS, and/or TNCC certifications preferred
• Previous experience as a Charge RN preferred
• Level 2 Trauma experience preferred
