Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6-week schedule | Holidays as needed | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Accurately document patient information and care delivery using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as operationally needed
• Adhere to facility scheduling policies including zero-tolerance standards for tardiness and unexcused absences

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed, required of all RNs regardless of specialty)
• Must meet non-local candidate requirement (candidates must reside beyond a 50-mile radius); valid driver's license required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CPI, PALS, and/or TNCC certifications preferred
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Level 2 Trauma experience preferred
