Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity, 92-bed Level I Trauma emergency department with a 1:4 RN-to-patient staffing ratio
- Manage and care for patients presenting with acute stroke (ischemic, hemorrhagic, SAH), acute MI, seizures, congestive heart failure, sepsis, trauma, and diabetes-related emergencies
- Perform and interpret telemetry monitoring and manage vasoactive and critical care drip infusions
- Support neuro-medicine and neurosurgical subspecialty patient populations including trauma cases such as MVCs, falls, and penetrating injuries
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely, evidence-based emergency care
Required Qualifications- Active RN license in North Carolina or a valid Compact State license
- Current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
- Prior Level I Trauma emergency department experience
- Demonstrated telemetry and critical care drip management experience
Preferred Experience / Skills- ESI Triage training or certification
- Experience with neuro-medicine or neurosurgical patient populations
