Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity, fast-paced 54-bed Emergency Room averaging 220 patients per day
- Assess, triage, and manage emergency patients at a Level 2 Trauma Center
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely and effective emergency interventions
- Accurately document patient care activities and clinical findings using EPIC electronic health record system
- Float to other units as needed, in rotation with staff and in accordance with facility floating policies
- Participate in required orientation modules and annual competency training through the designated learning portal
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale (pending certifications may be considered)
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
- 2-Step PPD and Flu Vaccine required – no exemptions accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Level 2 Trauma Center environment
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced emergency setting
