Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity, fast-paced 54-bed Emergency Room averaging 220 patients per day
• Deliver emergency nursing care in a Level 2 Trauma Center environment
• Assess, triage, and manage patients across a wide range of emergency and trauma presentations
• Accurately document patient care activities and clinical findings using EPIC electronic health records
• Float to other units as needed, in rotation with staff and in accordance with facility floating policies
• Participate in required orientation modules and annual competency training via the Relias/Net Learning portal

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (NIH certification accepted as pending at time of submission)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
• 2-Step PPD and Flu Vaccine required – no exemptions accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level 2 Trauma Center or similarly high-acuity emergency setting
• Familiarity with high-volume emergency departments and rapid patient throughput environments
• Experience with holiday and weekend scheduling in a travel or per diem capacity
