Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
- Deliver trauma-informed nursing care in alignment with Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required
- Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in a high-volume emergency department environment
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills in emergent situations
