Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed | Every Other Weekend Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume, fast-paced 32-bed Emergency Department serving a birth-to-death patient population
• Utilize critical care thinking and clinical skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for a wide range of diagnoses including strokes, STEMIs, and trauma
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5 while operating critical care equipment in a dynamic environment
• Document accurately and efficiently using Cerner EHR
• Rotate float assignments to other areas within scope of competencies as needed
• Adhere to call requirements, including potential push-back hours based on census

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with Cerner EHR required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Current PALS or ENPC certification required
• Strong patient and family experience skills with demonstrated critical care clinical judgment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment
• Clinical experience managing stroke, STEMI, and trauma patients
• Energetic, adaptable personality with the ability to thrive in a high-acuity setting
