Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) – Nights

Location

Hilo, HI | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 15-Week Assignment | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week following orientation week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Emergency Room department, including 4 trauma bays, 2 behavioral health rooms, and 22 cardiac monitor rooms
• Manage a fast-paced, high-turnover patient environment with a strong focus on efficiency and quality care
• Collaborate within a team-oriented setting to deliver timely emergency and trauma nursing interventions
• Monitor and respond to cardiac patients utilizing department cardiac monitoring capabilities

Required Qualifications

• Active Hawaii RN License required by the start of the assignment
• Emergency Room nursing experience required
• Ability to work night shifts (3×12-hour shifts per week)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or fast-paced emergency department setting
• Trauma care experience
• Experience with behavioral health patient populations
