Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Mid Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM | Every other weekend required, including at least 1 Friday and 1 Monday per 4-week schedule | No on-call required
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a 22-bed Emergency Room setting with a 1:4 patient ratio
Perform and assist with procedures including cardioversion, central line placements, cardiac arrests, IV insertions, and EKGs
Execute Code Stroke and Code Sepsis protocols as well as pacemaker interrogation
Assist with suture and abscess setup and other standard emergency department procedures
Utilize Phillips and GE monitors and Level 1 Rapid Infuser equipment; document care using Meditech (EDM) EMR
Float to a freestanding emergency department location as needed
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
Strong IV skills with both adult and pediatric populations
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CPI certifications
Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
