Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 40 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform telephone triage for cardiology patients, assessing symptoms and determining appropriate level of care
• Communicate clinical information clearly and accurately to patients, families, and provider teams
• Document all patient interactions and clinical decisions in the EMR system (EPIC)
• Coordinate with providers to manage patient load and ensure timely follow-up on clinical concerns
• Operate in a fast-paced outpatient cardiology practice environment with a variable daily patient load

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a phone triage setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Background in cardiology nursing preferred
• Prior experience in outpatient or phone triage nursing roles
• Team-oriented, energetic, and self-motivated personality with strong communication skills
