Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | 36 Hours Per Week | Every Other Weekend and Holiday Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a 10-bed Emergency Department with an annual volume of approximately 11,500 visits
- Perform ECI triage assessments and splinting procedures as part of unit-specific care
- Collaborate with a small RN team covering the ED, with additional overlap coverage during peak hours
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
- Participate in on-call rotation; if called back to the facility, call-back pay applies
- Float to ICU as needed (preferred but not required)
Required Qualifications- Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- ECI Triage training and splinting skills
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in an ICU setting or willingness to float to ICU
- Familiarity with Trauma Level IV emergency care environments
