Contract | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 13 Weeks | Full-Time Hours

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department within a Joint Commission Accredited Critical Access Hospital
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across a broad acuity range
• Collaborate with physician-staffed emergency services teams available 24/7 to deliver timely, high-quality care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Support continuity of care through effective handoff communication and coordination with interdisciplinary team members

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Michigan or a compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency or acute care setting
• Familiarity with Critical Access Hospital environments and workflows
• Experience with chest pain protocols or ACC-accredited Chest Pain Center standards
