Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 12 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform triage of patients using critical thinking and comprehensive assessment skills
• Manage IV/IO access, chest tube management, urinary catheterization, and critical care drip administration
• Provide cardiac monitoring and demonstrate competency in critical care assessment and management
• Deliver nursing care within a 16-bed Emergency Department at a variable 4:1 patient ratio
• Document patient care accurately using the Cerner (FirstNet) EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• CPI certification required (may be obtained on-site after contract start)
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
• Demonstrated competency in IV skills, cardiac monitoring, and critical care assessment and management
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner (FirstNet) EMR system
• Familiarity with critical care drip management in an emergency setting
