    Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide nursing care to patients across the full lifespan — newborn through geriatric — in a fast-paced Emergency Department seeing 26,000+ visits per year
    • Utilize knowledge of age-related growth and development to individualize the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care and practice
    • Manage patients comfortably with drips and ventilators within a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio environment
    • Operate within a newly renovated, 20-bed Emergency Department using state-of-the-art monitors and communication devices; EPIC EMR proficiency required
    • Collaborate closely with pre-hospital, in-hospital, and trauma teams to deliver coordinated emergency care within a Trauma Level III facility
    • Adapt quickly and effectively to high-stress situations while maintaining excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    Required Qualifications
    • Active New Hampshire RN license or valid compact RN license
    • Active BLS certification — American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
    • Active ACLS certification — American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
    • Active PALS certification — American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
    • Minimum 2+ years of current Emergency Department experience required
    • Prior travel nursing experience of at least 3 months required
    • EPIC EMR experience required
    • Personal vehicle required for this assignment
    • Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
    • Travelers must be available to work holiday blocks as scheduled — up to two of the following blocks may be required: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and weekend after; Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after; New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and weekend after
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
    • Higher levels of ED experience will receive first consideration
