Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | Three 12-hour shifts per week plus 2 on-call shifts | Onsite | Holiday and on-call coverage required
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care from admission to discharge in the Emergency Department
- Utilize accepted standards and protocols including ACLS, PALS (or equivalent), TNCC, and BLS in the delivery of emergency care
- Achieve patient outcomes through the implementation of clinical pathways
- Provide coverage at the primary Emergency Department location as well as potential coverage at additional nearby facilities
- Participate in holiday and on-call rotations as required
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS or equivalent certification
- Current TNCC certification
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in an Emergency Department setting
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting
- Familiarity with Trauma Level IV emergency care protocols
