Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | No on-call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced rural Emergency Department with a 23-bed unit
• Manage a patient ratio of approximately 4–5:1
• Perform de-escalation interventions as needed in the emergency care setting
• May be required to float to a nearby affiliated Emergency Department as needed
• Document patient care accurately using the facility's EMR system

Required Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN licensure required
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• De-Escalation Training required
• Minimum 1–2 years of Emergency Room experience
• Must live greater than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting
• Familiarity with rural or community hospital environments
