Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma in Lancaster, SC

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within a short-term acute care hospital
• Maintain a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio while delivering safe, high-quality emergency nursing care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic electronic health records
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including like units as required
• Participate in every-other-weekend coverage as part of the standard schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license must be in hand prior to start date
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Ability to respond to emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers will be considered
