Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center Emergency Department
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias in a fast-paced emergency setting
- Administer continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation as required
- Perform triage and manage a high patient volume, including potential ratios of 1:5–8 depending on census and holidays
- Float to Pediatric Emergency Department as needed
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic medical records
Required Qualifications- Active Michigan RN license (compact license not accepted; must be active by start date)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Level I Trauma Center experience required
- Current ACLS, BLS (AHA preferred), PALS, TNCC, and NIH certifications required (certifications may not be pending at contract start)
- EPIC charting experience required
- Ability to work 3 weekends (Friday–Sunday) per 4-week schedule and adhere to RTO policies
Preferred Experience / Skills- ENPC certification preferred
- Experience with continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation administration
- Emergency department triage experience
