Registered Nurse – Emergency Room
Location
Latrobe, PA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Rotating Shift (Days and Nights, 3x12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
- Rotate between day and night shifts as scheduled (7:00–19:00 and 19:00–7:00)
- Float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic health record systems
- Be available to work every other holiday as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license or valid Compact RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current AHA-issued BLS certification (and any other specialty-required AHA certifications)
- Willingness to float within the hospital and to nearby sister facilities
- Ability to complete pre-start modules and all compliance requirements prior to facility entry
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner electronic health records
- Two supervisor references available upon submission
