Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN)

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive triage and focused assessments of patients presenting with emergent, urgent, or non-urgent conditions using evidence-based triage protocols.
  • Provide rapid intervention and stabilization for patients experiencing medical, surgical, traumatic, psychiatric, and pediatric emergencies.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with hospital policy and provider orders.
  • Operate and monitor medical equipment including cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, ventilators, and point-of-care testing devices.
  • Participate in trauma activations, code blue, rapid response, stroke, and STEMI protocols as required.
  • Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic medical record in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oklahoma or a valid compact RN license.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current ACLS certification.
  • Current PALS certification.
  • Strong critical thinking, rapid decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift.
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • TNCC and/or ENPC certification preferred.
  • Prior experience in Emergency Nursing, Critical Care, or other high-acuity clinical settings.
  • Demonstrated competency in trauma care, cardiac care, and management of critically ill patients.
