Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma in Lisbon, ND

Contract | Night Shifts | 12-Hour Shifts (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Every Third Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room, Med-Surg, and Swing Bed departments, with the expectation of floating between units as needed
• Manage a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics, including traumas, strokes, STEMIs, chest pain, respiratory diagnoses, lacerations, pneumonia, UTIs, and observation patients
• Administer and monitor common drips including Heparin and Levophed
• Read and independently interpret telemetry/cardiac monitor strips
• Serve in a Charge Nurse capacity, taking an assignment while overseeing unit operations during the shift
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members using strong communication, flexibility, and adaptability in a fast-paced critical access environment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience required
• Charge Nurse experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; candidates may not currently be employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) at any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity
• All requested time off (7 days or fewer per 13-week contract) must be disclosed upfront prior to submission; additional time off will not be approved

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Critical Access Hospital experience strongly preferred
• Experience managing high-acuity cases including traumas, STEMIs, and strokes
• Comfort working in a small, flexible team environment with cross-unit responsibilities
