Key Responsibilities- Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
- Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment
- Support an EPIC conversion project, including accurate and timely documentation within the EHR system
- Apply independent and supervisory discretion in fast-paced emergency room environment
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- EPIC experience within the last 12 months and recent Cerner experience required; each work history entry must reflect the charting system used
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Previous experience in an acute care facility setting
