Contract | Night Shift | 48 Hours Per Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
Coordinate patient care with other disciplines and departments
Utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in clinical decision-making
Accurately document all patient care activities within Epic and maintain compliance with charting requirements during an Epic conversion
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
Epic and Cerner experience within the last 5 years; each work history entry must list the charting system used, with dates provided if multiple EMR systems were used at a single employer
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
