Key Responsibilities
Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
Coordinate patient care with other disciplines across the care team
Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all aspects of patient care
Document patient care accurately within required EMR systems, including Epic and Cerner
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
Epic and Cerner experience within the last 5 years (each work history entry must identify the charting system used, with dates provided if multiple EMR systems were used within the same role)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
