RN - Emergency Room (Epic)

Contract | Nights | 36–48 hours per week (3x12 or 4x12 shifts) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
Coordinate patient care with other disciplines using critical thinking and independent judgment
Apply professional and supervisory discretion in clinical decision-making within the Emergency Room setting
Accurately document patient care activities and assessments using Epic EMR
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
Current CPR / Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification
Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months (required); Cerner experience within the last 5 years (required) — each work history entry must identify the charting system used, with dates provided if multiple EMR systems were used at the same organization
Preferred Experience / Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Acute care facility experience
