Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care focused on patient comfort and well-being in an Emergency Room setting
• Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment across all phases of the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Direct and supervise the nursing patient care team, including CNAs, LPNs, and technicians
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and deliver quality patient care
• Complete timely and accurate documentation of patient care, condition, reactions, and response to treatment using Cerner EMR

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of Emergency Department (ED) experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Charge nurse experience required
• Active Michigan RN License required
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Active American Heart Association ACLS certification required
• Active American Heart Association PALS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency department environment
