Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: 07/06/2026

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process — including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation — for assigned Emergency Department patients.
  • Care for a diverse patient population including ED, trauma, medical, critical care, and pediatric patients.
  • Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
  • Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with scope of practice.
  • Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and thoroughly.
  • Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers; identify issues and connect with appropriate resources.
Required Qualifications
  • Active RN license in the state of TX or a compact state license.
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only).
  • Current ACLS certification (American Heart Association only).
  • Current PALS certification (American Heart Association only).
  • Current TNCC certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Moderate sedation competency.
  • Experience with EPIC electronic health records system.
  • Triage experience in an Emergency Department setting.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
