Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (Travel)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to Emergency Department patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of patient care
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education and professional development
Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff
Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care in the Emergency Department
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Missouri
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience required
Current BLS certification required
Current ACLS certification required
Current PALS certification required
Current NRP certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with EDIS/Medhost EMR system
Familiarity with high-acuity Emergency Department environments and variable patient ratios
