Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (RN-ED)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Mid Shift (15:00–03:30) | Every other weekend | Every other holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans
• Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and responses to treatment
• Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Ability to work mid shifts (15:00–03:30), every other weekend, and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous Emergency Department nursing experience strongly preferred
• Experience with triage and high-acuity patient populations
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
