Schedule / Job Type
Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Every Other Weekend & Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting at a Level II Trauma facility
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across all acuity levels
- Accurately interpret and respond to 12-lead EKG and dysrhythmia findings
- Document patient care and clinical information using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Adhere to unit protocols, safety standards, and infection control policies
Required Qualifications
- Active Indiana RN license or valid Compact State RN license
- Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, and NIHSS certifications
- Demonstrated proficiency with Epic EMR within the last year
- Must successfully pass a 12-lead EKG and Dysrhythmia competency exam
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pediatric emergency nursing experience
- Prior experience in a Level II Trauma center environment
- Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable working in a dynamic, high-change environment
