Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Mid Shifts (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM) | Expected 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective emergency care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments and interventions

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license (or temporary MA license) required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
• AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required
• Candidates must not have worked (permanent, travel, or per diem) at any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility within the past six months
• Local candidates are not being accepted for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma emergency department
• Strong critical thinking and rapid clinical decision-making skills
