Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma in Oakland, CA

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Intermittent weekend coverage required | No on-call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with facility protocols and standards
• Float within the hospital to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Participate in intermittent weekend coverage as part of the standard schedule
• Work 2 of 3 upcoming major holidays as required by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license — required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale — must be provided at time of submittal
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Any candidate who has worked at the facility as a permanent employee must have been separated for at least 6 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• CPI or Management of Aggressive Behavior (MAB) certification
• Two supervisor references preferred
