Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department serving approximately 170 patients per day across all age groups.
• Deliver nursing care within a Level 1 stroke and cardiac center and a Level III trauma facility operating at Level II capacity.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic electronic health records.
• Float between like units within skill set as required by staffing needs.
• Commit to every-other-weekend (EOW) scheduling requirements.
• Participate in holiday coverage, committing to 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room RN experience required.
• Valid RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for a travel contract.
• Ability and willingness to float between like units within scope of practice.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity or high-volume emergency department setting.
• Familiarity with stroke, cardiac, and trauma patient populations.
