    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department and Trauma unit serving approximately 250–300 patients per day across acute and subacute care areas.
    • Maintain a 1:4 patient ratio while managing a diverse patient population including trauma, cardiac, spinal cord, and psychiatric hold cases.
    • Utilize Cerner EMR and Phillips telemetry monitors, including the ability to read and interpret cardiac strips.
    • Perform and maintain competency in sterile field procedures including Foley catheter insertion and port-a-cath insertion as validated through SIMs Lab assessment.
    • Float as needed between multiple Emergency Department locations within the assigned facility network, including mid-shift floats.
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, mid-levels, respiratory therapy (available 24/7), and pharmacy staff.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience.
    • At least 6 months of Trauma Level 1 experience required.
    • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (ENPC is not an accepted substitute for PALS).
    • Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips using Phillips monitoring systems.
    • Proficiency with Cerner EMR.
    • Must have personal reliable transportation; ability to float between multiple facilities located approximately 30 minutes apart.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or ATCN certification preferred.
    • Experience with high-acuity trauma, psychiatric holds, and complex emergency presentations.
    • Familiarity with sterile field technique and competency in central line and Foley catheter procedures.
