    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Puyallup, Washington, 98372!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (12-Hour Mids/Nights)

    Location

    Puyallup, WA | Acute Care – Level III Trauma Center

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department averaging approximately 200 patients per day, serving a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
    • Manage high-acuity cases including trauma, GSW, sepsis, STEMI, stroke, DKA, respiratory distress, and adult psychiatric presentations
    • Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV access and management, drip and medication administration, procedural sedation, and blood administration
    • Operate and document within the Epic electronic health record system, as well as Alaris and Pyxis equipment
    • Monitor patients using central and bedside telemetry at the nursing station
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including ER techs, charge nurses, RT (24/7), pharmacy (24/7), social work (24/7), and house supervisors (24/7)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
    • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI/MOAB
    • Recent Epic experience required
    • Traveler Telemetry Competency must be completed and passed prior to start
    • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with TNK administration
    • Background with cardiac medications and advanced cardiac care
    • Experience in a high-volume or Level III Trauma Center environment
    • Familiarity with procedural sedation protocols
