Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed Emergency Department, including 27 medical beds and 3 ED Psych beds
• Manage a high-volume environment averaging 120 patients per day across a census range of 100–140
• Deliver POD nursing care with assignments adjusted according to average daily census
• Support care at a Level 2 Trauma Center and Level 2 Stroke Center
• Provide care within a Chest Pain accredited unit and a full treatment center for Sexual Assault Survivors

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• TNS or TNCC certification
• NIHSS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level 2 Trauma or Stroke Center environment
• Familiarity with POD nursing assignment models in high-volume emergency settings
