Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every other weekend required | Holiday coverage required during contract period
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a 54-bed Emergency Department serving neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations averaging approximately 120 visits per day
Support two locked Behavioral Health units within the ED at a 1:6 ratio, in collaboration with an on-site security team
Float within scope to two rapid evaluation units addressing urgent care and critical care needs as required by facility demands
Deliver care in alignment with Primary Stroke Center protocols, including 4 hours of annual stroke continuing education
Document patient care using Cerner with FirstNet and Launch
Wear navy blue scrubs per facility dress code requirements
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of Emergency Department experience required; candidates with 2 years of Level I or Level II trauma experience may be considered
Valid Maryland RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS certifications required
Prophecy Relias Advanced Emergency Department assessment required
Must be available for every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and holiday coverage during the contract period
